Robert Dudley Howland attended Brandon College, graduating in Arts in 1935. Later he obtained a doctorate in Economics from the London School of Economics. Howland had a lifelong interest in the Fabian Society and Fabian Socialism. He assembled the Howland Collection of original edition Fabian publications.


 Manitoba Pool Elevator  Collection
The Manitoba Pool Elevator Collection contains books and pamphlets concerned with life in rural Canada and problems associated with the production, transportation, and marketing of agricultural products through to the international grain trade. Publications in the collection were made available to Pool members throughout Manitoba.
